Sleep Science Research

The sleep project is a student organization dedicated to educating teenagers on and improving their sleep habits through the application of scientific study with real-life lifestyle changes. Through surveys, personal diaries, and peer discussion, the project examines how good sleep decreases stress, reduces anxiety, and improves mental and physical health. Based on neuroscience research, workshop attendees are educated on sleep cycles, circadian rhythms, and how electronics or late-night studying affect them. By sharing strategies—like establishing bedtime routines, limiting screen time, and practicing mindful eating and exercise habits—the project equips teens with the ability to control their sleeping, resulting in healthier lifestyle choices that lead to better academics, greater emotional strength, and a healthier life.
